Helen Kenny
Hair Stylist
Irish born, Helen discovered her love for hair and her natural craft at an early age. A hairstylist for over 14 years, working in Europe, New York, and for the last five years in Toronto, Helen has extensive experience in both salon and on-set work. She gained her teaching qualification in Ireland where she taught hairdressing & barbering to a range of ages & levels. Moving to NY, she gained experience in the fashion industry which she continues to expand in Toronto. Helen splits her time between set & salon work. She is a Senior Hair Stylist in a salon in Toronto where she specializes in colour and cutting techniques. She also works at NYFW each year assisting artists from around the globe.
Her own Clients include, John Freida, Burt's Bees, Mejuri, Winners, Marshall's, Additionelle, Vitaly, L'oreal, Luxy Hair Extensions, Voir Hair Care, Canada Goose, Hudsons Bay, Pantene, Cleo Clothing, Titika Activewear, Hayley Elessar, Urban Planet and Knix Wear. Helen has also worked with notible celebrities including The Weeknd, Miguel, MIA, Russell Dickerson, Black Atlas and Alessia Cara. Her work has been featured in numerous publications including L'Officiel (USA), Jon Magazine, Pull Magazine, Lucy Magazine, Chatelaine Magazine, Vice, Runners Magazine, Vanity Fair Italy, Vogue Italy, and The Globe & Mail.
